The real problem

Why drinking water does not
mean hydration

Every client I have ever tested believes they drink enough water. They track the quantity. They calculate litres. Some carry 2L bottles everywhere. And yet — cellularly dehydrated, every single time.

The reason is not how much they drink. The reason is the electrical charge of the water.

Water exposed to light loses its negatively charged hydrogen ions within minutes to hours. Tap water, bottled water, filtered water — all are, for the most part, positively charged or neutral. They cannot enter cells.

Water from deep in the earth — spring water that has never been exposed to light — carries a negative charge. That is real water. That is the water your cells are looking for.

Key Principle

The water inside your cells is negatively charged. It is a structured gel called EZ water (H₃O₂) — the fourth phase of water, confirmed by Gerald Pollack at the University of Washington. This is the standard we are aiming for. Not pH, not alkalinity — electrical charge.

pH is not the critical factor — regardless of what the alkaline water industry claims. Your stomach is strongly acidic. It neutralises the pH of any water within seconds. But ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) — the electrical charge — survives this process. That is what matters.

The problem in one sentence: the cell membrane carries a positive charge. Positively charged water repels a positively charged membrane. Water does not enter.

When I assess a new client, the first number I look at is total body water percentage (TBW%). This single measurement tells me almost everything I need to know about the state of their biological systems.

Improving cellular hydration is slow: approximately 1–2% per month with the correct protocol. It is not a quick fix. It is a biological reconstruction.

What happens in the body
35–47%
Cellular siege The body is fighting for survival. Lymphatic system blocked. Blood viscous. Acidosis in progress. Chronic disease — including cancer — becomes statistically probable. Even with correct nutritional effort, recovery is extremely slow.
48–54%
Conservation mode Every process in the body rations water. Metabolism slows. Regeneration reduced to survival functions. This is where 90% of people live — tired, foggy, unable to lose weight, sleep well or think clearly.
55–60%
Functional minimum The threshold of normal. The body resumes non-essential systems. Energy improves. Clarity returns. This is not the target — this is the entry point.
60–65%
Target zone Full cellular function. Regeneration active. Skin elastic. Clear cognition. Efficient metabolism. At this level the body has enough reserve that moderate coffee and alcohol have no lasting negative impact.
65%+
Optimal — anti-aging active Where I operate. Tissue regeneration at maximum. Measurable biological markers below chronological age. Sustained over 10+ years, this is one of the most powerful anti-aging interventions available.
The mechanism

Why water does not
enter your cells

This is the sequence most people have never seen explained. It is the difference between understanding hydration and actually achieving it.

Water must enter individual cells
Drinking water does not automatically hydrate cells. Water must be transported through the cell membrane to reach the intracellular space.

Aquaporins are the gatekeepers
To enter a cell, water must pass through protein channels called aquaporins in the cell membrane.

The membrane is positively charged
The outer cell membrane carries a positive electrical charge. This is normal and essential for cellular function.

Positive water repels the positive membrane
Ordinary available water (+100 to +700mV ORP) also carries a positive charge. Two positives repel. Water does not pass through.

Negatively charged water passes through
Water with negative ORP (minimum −50mV, ideally −200mV or better) is attracted through the membrane, enters the cell and contributes to intracellular EZ water structure.

Without this, the cell compensates alone
The cell survives on EZ water it can produce itself — a slow, energetically costly process that leaves the entire system chronically underpowered.

There is another level few people understand. Muscles store negatively charged water — they act as biological batteries. This is one of the explanations for why resistance training (especially isometric) accelerates cellular hydration — larger muscles store more structured water.

What does not work

The most common
hydration mistakes

Tap water
Typical positive charge between +100 and +700mV. Treated with chlorine and fluoride. Essentially useless for cellular hydration. This is not about taste or purity — it is about electrical charge.
Alkaline water machines
A multi-billion euro industry built on a misunderstanding. pH has almost nothing to do with cellular hydration. The body has precise pH regulation mechanisms — the stomach neutralises any water within seconds. What matters is ORP.
Sports drinks
High sugar, artificial colours, electrolytes calibrated for elite athletes at maximum intensity — not for daily use. Below 55% hydration, these are counterproductive.
Coffee and alcohol
Both are diuretics — they accelerate water elimination and deplete electrolytes. Below 55%, these are serious threats. Above 63–65%, the impact is minor — the system has reserve.
Natural mineral water
Better than tap water — not because of pH, but because of dissolved mineral content. Cells use these minerals to build ionic gradients. It is a decent starting point, not a complete solution.
What works

The 3-Tool Protocol —
measurable results

Over 30 years I have tested everything available. Most do not work or work marginally. The following three approaches deliver consistent, measurable results. Use one, use them all — any action toward negative charge is better than nothing.

Tool 01
H500 — Antioxidant Hydrogen Capsules
H500 (by Coral Club) dissolved in water releases negatively charged hydrogen ions directly into solution, producing water with significantly negative ORP that can penetrate cells. The fastest way to obtain negatively charged water without equipment. This has been my starting tool for 10+ years.
Tool 02
Hydrogen Water Generator Bottles
Hydrogen water generators use electrolysis to infuse molecular hydrogen (H₂) into water, reaching a negative ORP of −200 to −350 millivolts — the range at which water truly becomes capable of penetrating cell membranes. One investment, continuous use.
Tool 03
Mineral Water + EZ Water Protocol
The slowest but most accessible method — no devices needed. Natural mineral water consumed consistently provides the mineral matrix the cell needs to create its own EZ water (Exclusion Zone). Takes longer, but is sustainable long-term. The foundation of any protocol.
The essential component

Electrolytes —
the minerals that make it all possible

Negatively charged water cannot do the work without the correct mineral environment. Electrolytes create the ionic gradient that drives water in and out of cells — they are the essential co-factors of any hydration protocol.

Sodium and Potassium

They work together as the sodium-potassium pump — one of the most fundamental cellular mechanisms. Without adequate levels, cells cannot maintain correct volume or electrical gradient. Deficiency is extremely common in people on modern diets.

Magnesium

Critical and almost universally deficient in modern populations. Involved in over 300 enzymatic processes, it plays a key role in maintaining the electrical negativity of intracellular water and in muscular function. MAG-B-NOX — my formulation — addresses this deficiency directly.

Sodium Bicarbonate

Naturally dissolved in mineral water, it buffers acidity in the interstitial space. Chronic interstitial acidosis is one of the major barriers to cellular hydration — and one of the primary causes of systemic inflammation.

Practical note

Add a pinch of unprocessed natural salt (Himalayan or sea salt — not processed table salt) to your water when high-quality mineral water is not available. Sodium from unprocessed salt helps maintain the ionic gradient. It is not a complete solution — but it is better than distilled or filtered water with no minerals.

This is the exact protocol I have applied and refined over 10+ years. Simple. No bullshit. No unnecessary supplements. Every element has a precise reason.

Daily Hydration Protocol — Bralgei Shackry
Morning
First glass upon waking — H500 capsule in mineral water. Drink immediately. Follow with 5–15 minutes of breathing exercises. This activates the lymphatic system and prepares cells for the day ahead.
Throughout the day
6–8 glasses total, one at a time. Space them randomly. Do not drink large volumes at once — the body cannot efficiently process more than 200–250ml at a single intake.
The water
Quality natural mineral water — check the label: minimum 200–500mg/L total dissolved minerals. Avoid distilled or filtered water without remineralisation.
Coffee
Not before the first hour after waking. Always followed by a glass of mineral water. Below 60% TBW, limit to one espresso per day — it is a diuretic and your system has no reserve.
Evening
Last glass minimum 30–45 minutes before bed. Do not drink excess water in the evening — it disrupts sleep without added benefit. Quality matters more than quantity at this hour.
Measurement
Measure your TBW% monthly with a bioelectric analyser (Tanita or similar). You are tracking progress of 1–2% per month. Anything faster is improbable and indicates measurement errors.

At 63–65% cellular hydration, the body has sufficient reserve so that moderate coffee and alcohol consumption produces no lasting negative impact — the system recovers. Tissue changes are also measurable. At 53 years: elastic skin, no significant wrinkles, biological ageing markers significantly below chronological age.

Non-negotiable

You cannot build Level 2 on a dehydrated body. Every other system — nutrition, sleep, training, emotional regulation — depends on water as the operating medium. Hydration is the first pillar because it is the prerequisite for everything that follows.

You cannot manage what you do not measure. The good news is that basic measurement is accessible and inexpensive.

What comes next

Hydration at Level 2 —
where it goes further

Level 1 hydration means reaching 60–65% and stabilising there. This alone will transform energy, skin, cognition and metabolic function.
